This notice explains how Zambia Association for Research and Development (ZARD) handles information connected with its newsletter subscriptions.
With your consent, we use your email address to send updates when ZARD first publishes new research or News & Insights. You must confirm your email address before receiving these updates.
We use Zoho Campaigns to process newsletter subscriptions, send confirmation emails and updates, and manage unsubscribe requests. Your email address and subscription status are held in Zoho Campaigns, rather than a separate mailing list in the website database.
Zoho Campaigns also provides delivery and engagement reports, which may include whether an email was delivered, opened, or a link was clicked. For details about Zoho's handling of personal information, read the Zoho privacy policy.
The website processes your email address and IP address to validate requests and limit repeated or automated submissions. The rate-limiting records use protected hashes of these values, not a separate subscriber list.
You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email. Unsubscribing stops future newsletter updates but does not necessarily delete all provider records: an unsubscribe record may be retained to respect your preference. We do not automatically reactivate unsubscribed addresses. If you wish to return, use the “Subscribe again” link in the website footer and complete the subscription steps.
